There is a relevant difference between "click anywhere" vs "click on the picture of the screen", because to activate "this is the default action if yhou click anywhere *not* on a control" user interface things I tend to move the mouse way off to the margin just to be sure not to accidentally click on anything real. No reason for the condescending "petty comment" follow-up, though.

Again, thanks for the advice, I'd have never found it looking for an actual keyboard button or a visual control somewhere. It's a relevant distinction to say that the glass screen is the clickable area despite not looking like anything controllable. Such a petty comment I was trying to click on anything that looked like a controllable thing - any sort of button.
